Birth Doula Services:

As parents , we are so blessed to have the ability to experience a sacred connection with our babies during pregnancy and birth. A person’s birth experience can really magnify that connection. I strive to enable birthing  people and their partners to feel informed and present before and during their birth.

When a person advocates for themself and is able to fully experience and embrace the birth of their child, in whatever circumstance or occasion, they are left feeling confident and empowered. I support families and birth in all varieties without judgement. My goal as your doula is to support you and assist you in achieving a birth that is reflected upon as a positive experience, however you define it.

My Services Include:

 

  • Initial consultation (free of charge) to get to know each other and see if I’d be a good doula for you
  • Two prenatal visits to assess your needs and desires for the birth, define and understand our expectations of one another, and provide you with useful tools for labor and birth. Optional visit with your care provider at one of your prenatal appointments.
  • Phone and email support throughout your pregnancy and early postpartum period
  • Help creating a birth plan to help you clarify your preferences for birth and explain the options available to you.
  • Access to my lending library of childbirth materials to support your learning in preparing for the birth, breastfeeding and newborn care.
  • I will be “on call” for you 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your estimated due date. This means that I will arrange my personal schedule so that I am not out of town during this time.
  • Continuous one on one support throughout the entire birth
  • Postpartum visit to celebrate the birth of your baby and go over any questions you have about the early postpartum stage

 

Fees:

A complete birth package is $1800. A non refundable deposit of $500 is required at the first prenatal visit to hold your due date and cover the prenatal visits. The remaining fee is due by 36 weeks.
